About the Doctors
Pamela A. Richardson, D.D.S., F.A.G.D. Dr. Pamela A. (Carlson) Richardson grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Brussels, Belgium. She attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated with a BA in Biology in 1988. Dr. Richardson then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School where she received her DDS in 1992. During her senior year of dental school she received the prestigious Arthur E. Iwerson Award for Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry. After graduation she was selected for the General Practice Residency Program at the Naval Hospital in San Diego. Dr. Richardson received her certificate for that programming 1993. Dr. Richardson is proud to have served as a Navy Dentist at the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California for 3 years. Dr. Richardson joined Personal Care Dental Group in 1996. Dr. Richardson absolutely loves her profession and is motivated to help each and everyone of her patients reach and maintain optimal dental health. Dr. Richardson is proud to have the most compassionate and qualified staff in the area. Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society. Dr. Richardson is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and was recognized with their fellowship award in 1999. Dr. Richardson has been happily married to her spouse Jeff since 1994. They have been blessed with three beautiful daughters, Katie, Stephanie and Julianna. In her time away from the dental practice Dr. Richardson enjoys reading, exercise, walking, traveling and spending time with her family. Christopher Barreca, D.D.S. Dr. Christopher Barreca lectures publicly to children and parents in various school districts to educate and inform them about the importance of oral health. He graduated from Rockhurst University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Having been in practice for 5 years, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society. Dr. Barreca became a certified Invisalign provider in 2007. Dr. Barreca helps promote the need for better dental services for children through the annual Give Kids a Smile program. A member of the Raytown Chamber of Commerce, away from the office, he enjoys reading, athletics and spending time with his children. Dr. Barreca and his wife have six children. Dr. Rubelita James has practiced dentistry for 19 years. She obtained her degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, completing the program in six years. A mother of 3, Dr. James loves to cook. She participates in the Give A Kids a Smile program and Northland charities and fundraisers. Away from the office, she loves to travel and go on vacation with her family to the beach and other big cities. |
